Boukje.com Consulting BV (BCC) is a small and highly specialized consultancy company dedicated to acquisition and development processes related to regional and European cooperation. The company activities range from funding acquisition, concept development, grant writing and consortium building to graphic design and illustration of project ideas and results. In addition, we have extensive experience in supporting international projects with project management, outreach activities and exploitation of project results. Within INCITE we lead WP6 and we will create the logo design, website build and maintenance, and are lead in the dissemination activities.

Boukje Ehlen, MSc. CEO of Boukje.com Consulting, received her M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management Science, from the Eindhoven Technical University in 2000. She has managed a large number of European projects, as her work as a consultant for a New Business Development Company (Willems & van den Wildenberg), project manager at ECN Solar and as EU-advisor for the faculty of medicine of NTNU. She has worked as project and programme developer at Brightlands Smart Services Campus, where she connected stakeholders with each other and counseled on funding acquisition. Within BCC, she has supported over 100 grant applications, and over 20 European projects and within INCITE she is WP6 leader.

Dr. des Otto Paans, MA, Co-director Boukje.com Consulting, has a background in landscape architecture and urban planning as well as consultancy focused on European projects. He has formerly worked as landscape designer, graphic designer and consultant. He received his MA cum laude from the Utrecht School of Visual Arts and Design in The Netherlands in 2012. In 2017 he received his MA in philosophy with distinction from the Open University UK. He is currently co-director of BCC and has contributed to a large number of European proposals. In 2014, he published the monograph Situational Urbanism with Prof. Ralf Pasel from the TU Berlin, where he has successfully defended his PhD degree summa cum laude in 2020. In addition, he is active as concept developer and graphic designer in the European projects and proposals that BCC is currently involved in.

Karen van den Bos has an educational background in business management, extended with several modules from the Open University of New Zealand. She coordinated complex projects, while working for a property developer in New Zealand. She has experience with writing manuals, Standard Operating Procedures for a factory, and in several roles contributed to communication strategy development and implementation, amongst others while working at the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands, for the units WIND and SOLAR. She coordinates communication and outreach aspects for BCC and BCC’s projects and supports project management and proposal writing activities for our projects and clients.
